Head South, Head South

Published April 2, 2009

I warned you, and now here it comes: the onslaught of photos from my spring-breakin, road-trippin, car-break-downin, cactus-watchin, sweat-drippin adventure. We stayed in a little place my grandpa had found on craigslist and described as sufficient but a bit funky. When we arrived I told Siah that it was nicer than anything I'd be inhabiting for at least fifteen years. This was the view from the front door.

I need to clean my sensor.

Whenever the sun wasn't feasting on my flesh it was casting shadows and making silhouettes. Arizona is the land of the eternal golden hour. There is also very little shade.

This photo is completely unembellished. There was a gaggle of people meandering about the road pull-off taking the exact same shot, as well as a couple taking engagement photos or something of the sort, which gave them the excuse to be perfectly corny and excessively adorable. The rest of my pictures are of people (and by people I mean Josiah.) I'll show you some of those soon enough!
