Close to Coast

The state of Maine is officially Vacationland, and the city of Ogunquit even moreso, which is fitting because as far as responsibilities go, I've got very few for the first time in a while. Having become accustomed to everyday life in a tourist town from years of summer visits, I know most of the ins and outs and dos and don'ts, of which there aren't very many. I hate to be a geographical consumerist, but there's not a whole lot to do 'round these parts when you don't have jobs and friends and that sort of thing. So I brought my friends with me. One thing that is almost always an option is going for walks! And the beachside is a great place to do that sort of thing, though the water is intimidatingly cold (40F). Peep some pics belowe.
